ISI Spectral Scanner 900 - 1600
Research & development team produces ISI spectral scanners to support specific ceramic industry needs
Natural stone, wood, metal, geometric shapes and anything that can be used to create new pleasant graphic solutions.
It takes taste, imagination and a creative spirit to stand apart from low-cost competitors and to maintain high added value. But creativity must go hand in hand with technology, so the various design assumptions must be measured and verified in an effective and reliable way.
The concept of measurement is important since the measure phenomenon is essential for being able to control it.
Without attempting to provide solutions for the creative process where the artist’s spirit is essential.
Macs Tech supplies simple and effective instruments to ceramic laboratories solely for measuring the production process, determining the feasibility of production and evaluating costs before producing a single physical piece.

Main Features Technical Specification
ColorScan
ColorScan application
ISI scanners are delivered together with a ColorScan application, a spectral imaging software that captures the spectral composition of each point of the sample using the Macs Tech linear spectrometer.
Main Features
KeraArt® - Main Benefits
KeraArt® was designed with the aim of reproducing a ceramic image in two phases:
- The first is the mathematical construction of the printing process model
- The second is the creation of a print preview (soft proofing) and printing tooling
Therefore, KeraArt® allows to:
- Find a real producible solution on each production process
- Create the optimum graphics for the destination process
- Automatically generate tone variants
- Print on paper the proof to check the conformity of the final product with the original one
- Ensure the reproducibility of a graphic on multiple different production processes
- Deliver images usable for catalogs
Let's view each characteristic and functionalities one by one.

COLORSCAN - Main Features
• Acquire charts for measuring and modeling a ceramic process
• Acquire originals that need to be reproduced
• Banding free scan mode
• Spectral image analysis
• Anti shining functionality by changing the photometric range
• Images captured using Color Scan are saved in two different formats:
• digital “ips” format, if the spectrum is needed, as for example for images of charts to be analyzed for various jobs like Model creation or Ceramic process evaluation
• ”Tiff-Lab-16 bit” format, if CIE lab is requested as for example for graphics images of original products
• Scanned documents are saved with capture parameters and other useful information such as Illuminant, Observer, Acquisition data and Scanner Mode of Operation.
